Leeds Community Art Center Artist of the month for August featuring limited edition original aquatint etchings by ADC member Jill Marlar. Works from the NEW Birmingham Landmark Series will also make their debut, including Terminal Station, Vulcan, and Lyric Theatre Street Scene.

ADC member Nada Boner received an Award of Merit at this year’s 2011 Magic City Art Connection in Birmingham.

Congratulations, Allison and Robert!

ADC members Allison Bohorfoush and Robert Taylor participated in the Helen Keller Festival in June. Robert won "best of show" and they bought one of his boxes for the permanent collection. Allison won a Merit Award.

Allison has won several awards lately. Merit Award at Troy Fest, Purchase Award at Troy Fest, Merit Award at Three Foot Festival and a Purchase Award at Mecca Fest.

Robert won First Place at Arts Alive. Second Place at Three Foot Festival. First Place at Terry Brown Festival.

Long time ADC member Marie Jeff has seven of her lovely hooked rugs featured in Jessie Turbayne's latest book- "Hooked Rugs of the Deep South". We are truly proud!

Congratulations, Kay and Royal!

ADC member Kay Basiago received an Award of Merit at April’s ArtsQuest in Seaside, Florida. Kay’s work was also accepted into the Carnegie Visual Arts in Decatur “Embracing Arts 1X” May 20- June 25. She will have two Glass Bead Totem Sculptures in the exhibit.

Royal Miree also won an award at ArtsQuest in Seaside, Florida.

Bill was at the American Artisan Festival in Nashville Father's Day Weekend. Toni, Bill's wife was at Francisco's Farm Art Festival In Midway Kentucky at Equus Run Vineyards, the official winery of the Kentucky Derby.
